If ya'll haven't heard, the most anticipated 7th world is coming to the Spiral at last: Celestia! With its arrival comes an increased level cap to 60 and new ways to have fun with your pets.
Don't just take my word for it, see for yourself here. This new upcoming world is based on Atlantis and will be underwater as usual for said civilization. This here's gettin a bit annoying to me. I liked the way Eidos, now Square Enix Europe, made their version of Atlantis.
Not that I'm also a fan of Tomb Raider, but they at least found a way to have it above water. Too bad KI can't base it off this incarnation, lol. Anyway, Celestia opens this late summer and still can't wait to bring the Indestructible Master of Death up to 60.

Here Goes Everything
This was what I thought when I decided to go for a full year sub of W101. Maybe $60 in the hole, but at least I'd give it a try just this once.
Earlier this month, I've received an email indicating said special which would end this Wed. coming (3-24), then I found the subscription schedule saying Thurs. the 25th. Anyway, I'm just gonna renew my subscription for the year just once for now to try it out.
Just because I'm good for a year doesn't mean I'm gonna be on it every single day like I was just about with the monthly. I gotta take a little break now and then.
Long story short, after a short hiatus, this Wolf is outta the cage and his rage is growing! Well, enough of my naggin and Happy Gaming!

Tomb Raider
Well, for the longest time, I've seen several players picking up this badge and wondering where to get it. I tried almost everything in Tomb of Storms to tie up some loose ends until Jan. 6 when I ended up finding one that I've yet to tighten. Why I'm doing a post over a little badge? Just the name, Tomb Raider, brings out the inner Lara in fans.
Just another title for the Soulrider: Wolf Soulrider, Tomb Raider or "An Indestructible Master of Death".

A Break in the Spiral
Well, I said that on Feb. 27th, my subscription would expire and decide to take a break from playing for a while. I'm gonna try sticking to it for a month or two as I focus on some other things. I cleaned my plate off this game though, that is, every possible quest. I may have said the following once before, but I'll say it again. Here's my story...
In the six months I've been in the Spiral, I met several friends, maybe lost a few, most are kid players that would notice me online and cry for help like I'm Superman. Not that I'm against playing with kids since they're the principle audience KI made this for, but it's just challenging enough for adults as well. Originally, I just wanted to play it for the trial and decided to go for a month, then they eventually added up to the six.
During that time, I also signed up for Central and read the Mercs for Hire thread and that sprung my interest in wanting to help other wizards. Though the leader may not have any current openings, his group still would smile upon others that reply to the thread, jumping in whenever the main group has too much on their plate. So, I used this as an opportunity to practice some gauntlets/instances solo.
Having taken care of a few several times, I decided to try for the Great Spyre. I wanted this as one final hurrah before the Wolf gets caged for a while. The catch is that it's easier to have someone to help me with the crystal stands there. I'm not gonna say that "if 'The Friendly Necromancer' can do it, I can too." I'd say, "I'm a battle hardened gamer that seeks a challenge as such and wish to see it through one day." One day, indeed. Whenever I do decide to jump back into the Spiral, this would most likely be my top order of business.
Before I close this post, I had an interesting challenge a couple weeks back. One of the many friends I made wanted me and her taking on the Ravens. Yep, 2-on-4. Interesting thing is not only did the two of us got through without any further backup or retries, if you seen my signature on Central, this would be a good example. The signature says, "Wolf Soulrider, an Indestructible Master of Death that's 'scanning the scene in the city tonight. Looking for you to start up a fight.'" I had my doubts since I was almost out a couple times, but the other Death player was like, "not on my watch". He'd rather die fighting than submitting to a few birds wanting to cook up their version of Ragnarok. Yep, if you gone along the Grizzleheim story, Everwinter does almost sound like Ragnarok.
One final thought is that this Wolf may be caged for a while, but he'll soon be back "scanning the scene in the city tonight. Looking for you to start up a fight."
