2nd Annual Ravenwood Ball

News may have already spread about this upcoming event.  What I've to say about it?  I may most likely attend shouldn't anything else come up.  Just like last year, I'll probably just wander around, using the crowd as my mask in an attempt to mingle while gettin some pics in.  Perhaps a video or two if I remember.  Still a small break from leveling my wraith to Epic and Nastrond.

Almost everyone that has a blog, especially everyone's favorite Lionblood will be there along with the Ravenwood Radio crew and scores more.  Once more, it's tomorrow from 7-9pm EST in Vampire 1, starting in the Ravenwood campus.  Granted it's not much of a post, but if I show up, I show up.  If not, then not and "Good fight, good night!".

Back in the Saddle with Wintertusk

A new year sub paid for, finding enough crowns for Life Mastery Amulet, a fresh new story for the Spiral set:  I'm game!

Just my way of saying that I'm gonna continue juggle over this and Mabinogi while I work on Wintertusk.  Once again, I see a Natla-esque plot of the Coven wanting to cause their own Ragnarok, Everwinter, by awaking the Ice Titan, Ymir, to start what she calls "The Seventh Age".  Just like with Celestia, I'll work on the gaidens, side quests, after I work on the main story unless said quests are for my benefit.

As for new spells, looks like Death gets "Dark Pact" which I'm beginnin to enjoy better than Empower.  Ya'll may remember Empower damages the caster with 500 health for 3 pips.  Dark Pact, on the other hand, is 300 health for a Dragonblade.  A small price to pay for a new blade.  When I said Dragonblade, it can be given to anyone but the damage is still on the caster like with Sacrifice, another such card I like better than Empower.

Now, onto one highlight of the evening.  First night back in the game after my sub expired following Celestia and I, amongst others, have ran into Friendly and Uber Wife.  Done nothing more than a quick "Nice to run into ya and Uber Wife." and be on my way.  Anyways, I didn't really expect to even run into those two in Kelvin 1 following my Wizened Wizards M&G (Meet & Greet).  Speaking of which, since I've been working most weekends since January up to a few weeks back for Easter, it just didn't give me much chance to come for the Friday ones.

So, once again, "Good Fight, Good Night!"

Moving on With "An Elven Quest"

Hopefully everyone hasn't much memory loss of my previous post on Mabinogi.  Since that's about to become a blog of its own, I might as well introduce it for those who enjoy reading up on Soulrider1 too.  Speaking of which, I finally got 'im to 85 about a month back and the Dragon's Tomb repeat is just another snail trail unless there's a halfway decent party to join.

As for Spiritshade, he's at age 20 and lvl 40 (without a rebirth yet).  Guild huntin's at a center point now where I've already signed up for one, RPSociety which deals with players tryin to slip into the role of their characters.  As part of the Mentorship Program to become a full member of the guild, at least three dungeon runs and roleplays with any appointed Mentor is required.  As usual, I like to post a mug of my characters so you won't any more of strangers to me while I've been to ya'll should you run into me.  Thought it'd be a nice spot as well with the RPSociety guildstone in the background.

Still the same gear even.  Too bad there aren't any Bound Bow/Dagger spells as in Oblivion to lose some unwanted burden though.  Speaking of which, I'm goin through that game again and just decided to ditch the bows for the Bound type (zero weight means more lootin :) ).  Well, this is it for Spiritshade on "Diary".

As for the Wolf, I'm gonna temporarily put 'im on hold for a spell until I feel the call of the Necro beckoning me once more to the Spiral that never ends.  So, without any further filler, "good fight, good night!".

Mabinogi

Have any of ya'll heard of this game, Mabinogi?  If not, head over here and check it out, even the wiki should you like their story.  Anyway, these two above links may explain it better than I can describe it below.

Onto the game itself-it really is starting to feel like a virtual life instead of the normal hack and slash type of MMO's like Fiesta here, but a tiny hint of Oblivion into the mix.  When it came to naming the character, I obviously tried for my current pseudonym of Soulrider (w/no numbers/spec. characters of course) and once again, someone must've beaten me to it.  Luckily, Spiritshade (in sorta honor of my Life wiz, Wolf Spiritshade), was available.

Unlike my other two main games, Mabinogi allows you, thus far from "readsay", to choose whether the character you'd made on the class/destiny later on instead of the beginning at creation.  As obvious, I'd probably go for mage since of my interest in spellcasting and Soulrider1.  The three main races to choose at start are Human, Elf and Giant.  Since my mage is an elf, I've chose said race.  Funny I'd been wanting to choose elves as a race in games lately.  Possibly later on, I may start a new blog to chronicle Spiritshade's sojourn into this brave new virtual land.  Other than all this and to save on further filler, this is just an update on my gaming.  Once again, good fight, good night.
