Just Havin a Ball...

...at the Ravenwood Ball last night, that is.

Watch live streaming video from ravenwoodradio at livestream.com

I happened to get into Vampire 1 to get a clear shot at Lionblood again and after ducking at Myth Tower to free some lag, I got booted to area 2. As for hats, I couldn't decide to keep the Captain's on or just stick to my usual Spiderkeeper's. Ultimately, I couldn't part wit the latter after several switches. At various points of the first half, you can find me tryin to brave the heavy lag, getting into RR's camera for a few close ups.

Normally, I wouldn't be in some spotlight as this, but I found a couple chances to finally run into Friendly before gettin shunted to area 2 though.

At least you'll spot the Captain's hat better.  All in all, both areas 1 & 2 were crowded and packed like sardines.  Thought my PC would freeze up or the game would crash.  Anyway, as I said before, I'd braved the heavy lag and mowed down the grass to get this clear shot of Friendly again.  Even changed his pet again, at the Central party, he had a GH boar named Duke Harry when I thought it'd say Dirty Harry.  That Cass Lionrunner on my left here didn't seem to move one bit the whole time I was there.

Speaking of which, my normal threads are somewhat of Harry's nature as described in "Sudden Impact".  He walks into a restaurant, tries to force a crime LT, Threlkiss I think it was,  into admitting his crime.  Just before that, the very same guy tried offering him wine.  Here's where the wine comes in, Threlkiss describes "Men should be like wine, becoming mellow and more worldly.  Harry, on the other hand, is one constant in an ever-changing system."  I try to keep my backpack light and find a nice all around outfit.

In the end, when RR finished recording, "Just as soon as I belong, then it's time I Disappear."  Said that I'd braved the lag, but not for too long since I sometimes lose myself in a crowded room.  But again, I can use the crowd to hide.

An Interesting Evening

One of the famous figures I wanted to at least run into in my adventures in the Spiral is Thomas "The Friendly Necromancer" Lionblood.  That being said, I finally gotten that challenge down the list.

I was just runnin over his blog and found that he may be at a W101 Central party and the Ravenwood Ball.  So, like any other fan, I had to show up at the right times and gotten a good mug up above.  Funny that you see 'im with the same gear as I, but stitched onto other clothes and a different pet.  I just can't bear to part with Shadow, lol.  So, I just let the rest of my pets, including that Danger Hound roam at Soulrider Palace.  Still, I got a laugh outta his pet there.  Though its name is Duke Harry, I was like, "Duke?  I thought it said Dirty Harry."  Then a couple others went with his famous "Do ya feel lucky?" catchphrase.  I was gonna try a lesser known one like, "I'm not some dog and pony act." from The Dead Pool (don't get that confused with the Marvel comic Deadpool).

All in all, I finally gotten a chance to run into Friendly, twice I might add, and spent some time at the Ball.  Braving the heavy lag, of course.  When Ravenwood Radio finished their live show, it was time I Disappear.

Long Time, No Post

Granted that it's been a while since I last posted something here since I've been on Fiesta most of the time.  About the only times I'm on Wizard is for the WW M&G's until Celestia opens up either on test realm or live.

Still, thought I try posting a little something here to keep this a little alive until then.  Yet on the test realm, if none of you found that trainer on Colossus, she has a dispel for each school now on top of the Elementals.  The new ones are:  Strangle, Entangle, Vaporize and Unbalance.  In order:  Death, Life, Myth and the last is a no brainer since it's in the name.  Until it's live, you can only get these dispels in the test.

Funny this was only a short post, but as I said above, thought I'd put a little something up about any recent events in my view of W101.  Until next time, "go hurt/heal somethin!"

W101 v Fiesta Round 2

Once again, another bout of how I can compare the two MMO's.

Just like W101 Central, FiestaFan.com Forums is similar.  Unlike the former, I've yet to see a thread like M4H (Mercenaries for Hire).  Granted they do have a thread for requests, but the catch is that you need to find a player in your designated server.  Why?  Like in "...Round 1", you can't move/transfer your Fiesta character between realms.  As I read it, it wasn't as organized as the Mercs'.  I may continue to play as Soulrider1 until he gets to a point where he'd need little or no assist himself before I start up the "Bijou Black Hand".

Why "Bijou Black Hand"?  First off, as before, unless I decide to make more guys in separate servers (highly unlikely), I would only be able to aid those in my server, Bijou.  Black Hand is just, as in last round, my Academy in which I may end up joining later on mostly for the name, the rest is another show.

Anyway, comes to my dilemma.  Should I continue to become the Merc I'm aspiring to be, continue making Soulrider1 more powerful and establish the Bijou Black Hand, or both?  I'm not gonna decide, but will more likely choose both.
