A Comparison of Sorts

Throughout my journey into the Spiral, I've found several similarities to other games/movies I'd played/seen.

The "raising of the Dragon Titan" was like Ninja Gaiden II where the final boss was Vazdah, but the difference was that the Titan didn't get raised, but Vazdah did, causing Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist, to fight him twice.

The progressing difficulty was a bit like Kingdom Hearts. Starts off a little cheery, fun and easy, even the attitude itself.  But, as that game progressed, so did the attitude and theme.  The final boss of the first was Xehanort, known as Ansem at the time.  He looked kinda Darth Vader menacing, that is, so evil that you'd wanna side or be like him.

Stealth brings me to Metal Gear Solid where you would try walking on the side paths and not get into direct view/contact with the enemy to evade.

Dragonspyre almost reminds me of the Greece/Roman levels of Tomb Raider.  The Great Spyre was kinda like The Great Pyramid in that game.  I even would sometimes call Malistaire Natla because of this.  Mooshu's Hametsu Village I would make a crack at why it wouldn't be called Hayabusa Village from NGII.

Next up, connections of characters, such as the Twin Drakes.  I knew Cyrus "The Virus" and Malistaire looked alike, but didn't knew at first they were twins.  Off topic, I named them the "Twin Drakes" for a rhyme coming up.  Said rhyme reminds me of Metal Gear Solid with Solid and Liquid Snake.  At first, the former, usually known as Snake, didn't knew Liquid was his twin until near the end.  Then, there was a remake, The Twin Snakes.  Rhymes, yeah?  Twin Drakes, Twin Snakes?

I can add the movies that could compare to this, but that's another show.
